Here are a few photos from the exhibition for the 26th Annual Philippine Cultural Arts Festival at Balboa Park. Master Ricketts and his students demonstrated several basic techniques, such as defondo, counter attacks, and disarming a weapon. They also demonstrated some freestyle movement with single sticks, double sticks, blades, and espada y daga.
Master Topher Ricketts and his students will be doing an exhibition of Kali Ilustrisimo at the upcoming Philippine Cultural Arts Festival. The festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 7-8, from 11:00am – 5:00pm. The Ilustrisimo Exhibition is scheduled at 12:30pm on Sunday, August 8th. The Festival will be located off of Park Blvd, near the Aerospace Museum. no comments 2nd photo shoot for the upcoming book today.
